those are JUST the site fees...
you have to bring your own caterer.

DH is from Texas, Dallas to be exact. We toyed with the idea of getting married in Texas (even though we both live here in NY) because I thought we could have a cheaper wedding. Not so. While there are a few places that are less expensive, they are tons of places on par with nyc/li prices. There are lots of wealthy Texans who have very lavish weddings and the prices reflect that, at least in Dallas. Can't speak for the rest of the state.

Still better than the site fees in NYC. That place was right down the street from my old apartment in Houston. Hmm, I don't remember that place at all.
