I am getting married on Thursday. It all depends where and what time of year you are having the wedding. I am getting married during offpeak season so I think the price was the same for a Sunday evening. You see the difference in price if you were considering Friday or Saturday.

I am getting married on a monday (president's day, so it is sort of like Sunday) but it was much cheaper than a Saturday because it was a weekday. We saved I think $40/pp over the Saturday price (it would have been $30 or $35 but we negotiated out the 4th cocktail station, seriously how much food do they need!) and our minimum was much lower too.

i have heard that thursday is a lot cheaper.. a few of the venues we went to told us the price per person was almost cut in half. but all of the outside vendors do not have discounted prices for thursdays, just an fyi.

Re: Anyone Getting Married on a Thursday???

My hall tried convincing me to get married on a thursday night when I was trying to chew them down in price. (same hall you were interested in!) I was told that that was the only way to get it cheaper then what I was orig. quoted. Ive been to a thursday night wedding, some think its an inconvenience... but any one who WANTS and should be at your wedding will make it. I think it makes it more special because you know if they made it, even though they have work in the morning or whatever you KNOW they are there because they care about you. You should definitely check it out, what to do you have to lose!
