If so which one? Me and FH went to Allegria (Long Beach) sunday night. Don't get me wrong is unique, sophisticated and very elegant. We were looking to stay the night before with our bridal group, each on every room and off coarse our wedding night. The price comes out to $510.00 per night plus taxes. ***. Is this a joke. What hotel are you girls staying ready, or what can you recommend?

Re: Anyone getting ready at a hotel?
I'm getting ready at a hotel since Im in queens and the curch and hall are on the island. We are probably going to block at a Marriot. Price per night is like $119 for everyone and we will have a suite for that night.

Re: Anyone getting ready at a hotel?
I am spending the night before at the Fox Hollow and getting ready there in one of the Royal Suites and it is far from $500+/night. (But obviously there is a huge difference from the Fox Hollow to the Allegria)
I have to double check but I think the suite is around $200 or less but I can't remember- have to look at my contract.

Re: Anyone getting ready at a hotel?
I am getting ready at the Inn at Great Neck with my bridal party. Since I live in New Jersey my DOC has HIGHLY recommended that I stay closer to the church and venue. SUPER EXCITED!!!
I wish I knew LI better so I could help more.

Re: Anyone getting ready at a hotel?
I am also getting ready at the Inn at Fox Hollow. And as another post mentioned, I believe it was around 200.00, or maybe even under that like 180.00. I can't remember off the top of my head.

Re: Anyone getting ready at a hotel?
I'm staying at our co-op the night before and getting ready at my mom's. We were thinking about staying at the Allegria the night of our wedding bc it's so close to Bridgeview, but I've been hearing it's not as nice as it should be for the money. So now I'm thinking of other ideas. Maybe a suite in the Marriot? Idk

I am staying at a Hotel...
I think it will be the Marriot (Uniondale) since it is the closest one to Church and Home ....

We're staying/getting ready at Marriott Residence Inn. All the rooms are suite so there should be lots of space, and its only $129

Re: Anyone getting ready at a hotel?
Allegria is very very beautiful. It dosent have a pool. I can care less for that. I'll easily pay #300.00 max a night there but not $500.00.

Re: Anyone getting ready at a hotel?
Even tho we need to be at the Fox Hollow for pics at 9:30 am, we decided to stay at the Homewood Suites in Plainview. Their 900 sq ft suite sleeps 8 people, has 2 bathrooms, and is about $275 for the night.
The rate I got for the biggest suite at the Fox Hollow was $225, and it's half the size and sleep space as Homewood...so we'd need 2 attaching Fox Hollow suites, and it's just not worth the $$. I need to accommodate 13 people being in the suite morning of the wedding.

How far is it from Fox Hollow? I was planning to spend the night before at Fox Hollow and get ready there with my bridal party and FH and his guys were going to get ready at CB. We were quoted $210 per night for Fox Hollow.

Re: Anyone getting ready at a hotel?
I am staying at the Fox Hollow the night before. its about $160 for me since my wedding is in the winter and they cut me a break since I'm blocking rooms the night of the wedding. But its normally about $215 for a suite with 2 doubles beds/king bed and a king sofa pull out

Re: Anyone getting ready at a hotel?
I really wanted to stay at homewood suites, but when you have a 11:30 ceremony any time you can save helps!!!!!! We found the hampton Inn Garden city for $139 a night and the suite will be !$169 for us. The suites are Gigantic and it is 8 min away from WM and right around the corner from chateau briand too.
