i was going to get them the embroidered hankerchiefs and then maybe our moms their day of jewelry...depends on how much money we have at the time to get them more

My parents like to travel- so we will probably get them a weekend away somewhere. And we will probably just get something small for FMIL- maybe her day of jewelry or something- her and FH have a rocky relationship and she's not contributing anything (well except agita lol)

I know usually I hear of people giving frames for the new wedding pictures....I like the hankie idea also...especially the embroidered ones...

My parents and FH's parents are not paying for the wedding and I am very bitter about it and will not be giving them gifts. They're lucky they're getting parent albums ![]()

Before drama starts, I completely understand your reasons for doing that. There are other reasons behind me not giving them gifts, not only that they're not contributing.

we're getting them all albums of like 40 pictures each that they can choose, as well as a DVD of the wedding
for my parents we're sending them away for a weekend, and paying for there hotel for the 2 nights for the wedding, and my moms hair and makeup.
for his dad and step mom, something small not sure yet

Can parent albums be considered a gift? What do most people get? I really am lost on this one as well.....

some have given an empty frame or a frame with the Epic for now telling them it is for the wedding pic....whatever you choose i guess
