Are you using a travel agent? If so, which one? I'd be going in June 2010, so will probably have similar weather to what you'll have.

well, FH did a lot of research first and planned a lot based on the Frommer's guide. HOWEVER, in order to actually book it, we used a travel agent so that we only had to put a deposit on it at first, could get insurance and have someone to help us if we ran into any problems along the way. i think you FMd me so i'll FM you back the info.

I've been there because I have family just outside of Sydney and it is beautiful. You'll be there for their summer which is great. When I went it was our summer-their winter-but their winter was extremely mild. We checked out some beaches anyway and they are gorgeous. I can't help you with hotels bc I stayed at my cousins-but we did a lot of the 'touristy stuff'. Darling Harbor was our favorite. We also did a wine tour-bout an hour away from Sydney that was a lot of fun.
