I was there!! I had forgotten about it and only went to meet with Royalty Limo to book them and leave. I wound up staying for the whole thing. SO much more fun than the one at Jericho Terrace last month.

I had a great time. I have to say, as DJ's go, I was not all that impressed with Starlight Express. They were funny, but I thought the first DJ's, Big Hits Entertainment, was much better and plan on booking them if I can afford them. I LOVED Jay W. Becker's floral table!! And they GAVE AWAY their floral arrangements!! Wow!

I have to agree about starlight express...i liked the first DJ much better...and jay becker's table was the best there.
I went to him to get a qoute and compared to the other places, his place wasn't as impressive ( just the whole atmosphere of it) and i've never heard anything about them, so i doubted it, but he really does a great job. I almost wish i went with him

Do you mean you wish you had gone with Jay W. Becker flowers? I have an appt. w/them tomorrow night. Tonight I'm going to Pedestals. My flower budget is really small (by comparison to what I've heard others are) so I'm hoping someone can accommodate me.

Let me know what happens with the florists. I went to both of them. Pedastals was a little higher, but both in the same ball park. Jay Becker was willing to make me a sample the next day. But my dad knows the guy at united Floral in Great Neck, so we went with them.

Hi - I decided to just go with Pedestals because I liked what they had, they worked with us in terms of our budget and I am just tired of running all over town interviewing this one and that one. The PLUS is that they are DIRECTLY across the street from my reception site - Jericho Terrace. While I was at Floral Terrace, I made an appointment with Dejavu Photographers. But I'm interested to hear what Twelfth Night Studios has to say (they weren't at the show). I have an appt. with them on the 21st of this month. Apparently they take your pictures and they GIVE you the proofs AND the negatives. I never heard of that before. Have you picked your photographer?

His name is 'Jay.' He was really great. Lots of ideas. Very accommodating.

I'm using silverfox...i went to a bunch of photographers and they were giving me exactly what i wanted. John, the owner is really nice. He gives you the proofs, and all of the pictures on a cd so that you can e-mail them to people or bring them somewhere and print more out. He also posts them on the internet for you.
He'll do anything...i think they mostly use digital so they can't give the negative....but i'm not positive.
