Re: Anyone go to The New School for Grad School?
I just spoke to an admissions officer at the grad school fair at my school. It seems like they have some really interesting programs. From what they admissions director told me it didn't seem like it would be so difficult to get in numberswise, it's more about what you pllan to do while you're there. I think he said something like 3.0 or 3.2 is the minimum GPA, but they said don't let it discourage you if you have a lower GPA. Also, of course if you worked in between, your GPA matters less

Re: Anyone go to The New School for Grad School?
I had a friend who went to the Actors' Studio. She LOVED it. I don't know much about it, but I do know that she auditioned/applied one year, didn't get in, and then went back the following year and got in.
Not sure if that helps you at all, but if you want more information on that program, just say the word!

Re: Anyone go to The New School for Grad School?
I went to the New School for undergrad and took some grad classes. I love it there! I don't know much about their admission policies but as far as the programs are concerned, I think they're great for the most part. Really interesting classes and a great student population.
