Anyone going out for Resturant Week?

Long Island Resturant Week is Nov 1- Nov 8.. Anyone plan on going out? Where are you going?

I usually go but not sure where i want to go this year.

Ive gone to this in the city. my coworker gets word of it and picks a place and we all go together.

I didnt' know they did this on li too!! haha!!

Thanks! I go to the city as well and the past two years did the LI one.. its fun.. another excuse to go out and try a new place

This year there are a few places I want to go but will probably end up at only one

Probably not this year...we're going to be really busy. Restaurant week always falls the week of our dating anniversary (11/5), so we usually have coincided with that, but this year we're going to be busy with dance lessons, moving, a confirmation and hockey game on the 7th, and purchasing all of our furniture on the 8th, so eep! If we're lucky maybe we can go the very last day somewhere.

Part of me is screaming to go to the Carltun because I didn't get to eat at my wedding!

Kat,, its mikes bday and hes beggin me to take him there next week for it!! Hes obsessed with their beef wellington, lol.. you should totally go there!!:)

I'll take some recommendations too. While I grew up on LI, I'm looking to try someplace new.

I'm trying to convince FH that we should go to Besito in Huntington on the last day, since it's close to where we'll be setting up our apartment and stuff. I heard it was good, so I'd like to try it, but don't know if FH is going to be gung ho for it.

I think we are going to try Ristorante Gemelli in babylon one night.. My mom stumble upon that place accidentally one day and loved it. Also Perabell in Patchogue is amazzzzzzzing. I go there all the time so thats a great one to try out...

Just looking at the Nassau list bc I don’t know Suffolk that well –

Mill Creek Tavern in Bayville in AWESOME, we had our rehearsal dinner there and the food was amazing! Except driving up to Bayville is a PITA.

Uncle Bacala’s in GCP is good too and they give you free cotton candy at the end of dinner.

Mim’s, Besito and City Cellar are all good too.

The short rib at Besito is hands down the best thing on the menu! ENJOY!!!!!!!!!

Take him! for $25 a person, how can you go wrong?
