Anyone going to....

As most can see I am not one to chat often but I do try to get in on the info, tips, congrats,and etc..
I am one to go to just about every bridal show always trying to WIN SOMETHING FREE...and it pays off....

MY FH and I went to The Fortunoff Survival Show and he won me $250 Fortunoff Gift Card by playing (such a good sport ) 'Musical Booty'.
I have won various things...just wanted to know if anyone is going to:

Garden City Hotel Dinner Wedding Show on Thursday, March 15th

or

'Girls Night Out at Fortunoff/Westbury' on Thursday, March 22==they are doing it at all Fortunoff

yeah, total total pain. I don't know how we are going to interview dj's and photographers. florists, eh, i really don't care about much more than the bouquets, but i really worry about the dj's and photographers (i wish we could afford a band, but that's just not going to happen). sigh. oh well.

And to think I won 1 hour cocktail sax and organist for free..(not using though) These are things you win at the show...and I won a singer for free too....not using her either.
I cant afford the band either, I told my FH that for our 10th year bash we will have a band

I'm going to both of those!!!!

I got a call a few weeks back that I'm a finalist to win a free wedding at the Garden City Hotel and their giving it away on the 15th!!!

And I'm hopefully dragging some of my bridal party to the girls night out on the 22nd.

March is a busy month!!! lol

We live in Northern VA (work in DC). We're coming up to the Island tomorrow night to meet with our priest and do a tasting at the place I think we are going to book for the reception on Saturday. It's just super hard to pack in these weekends when we really only have Saturday to do the work since we have to leave early on the Sunday. I kind of wish that we weren't getting married so soon (amazing how December is 'soon') and that we had more than 9 months to plan all this. I know we'll get it all taken care of, I just wish we could go to these things so we knew what our options were and didn't have to stack them. I'd love to just hit up the vendors all at once. That's why this board is so great. I can pick up on all the chatter about the vendors and figure out who is good and who isn't. I'm hoping that it saves me some time!
