Did anyone see the Bachelor last night? They were in Aruba and I think they all stayed at the Radisson.. looks like an awesome place! (I also enjoyed the blonde being voted off- I hate her!). Just wanted to share.. MrsStefan I hope you watched!

I saw it and noticed that they stayed at the Radisson. WE are staying there..and I was so excited to see how beautiful it looked.

Would u say that a trip to Aruba is cheaper than Hawaii??? I have been to Aruba...just for one day. I was on a cruise that stopped there and it was BEAUTIFUL! I wouldnt mind goin back. FH and I are deciding the best route to go for honeymoon w/out breaking our bank!

I didn't watch the Bachelor last night. I was following it at first until I got annoyed with the show. I wish I saw it for the Aruba scene.
I can't wait to go !!!!! I hear so many wonderful things about it.

I dont know Deb,,,,,I know we are paying close to 10k for our HM and that is because we are going during x-mas break. That price includes 1st class airfare and the executive honeymoon suite at the Radisson.

I've been to Aruba. You can go there for a lot less than it would cost to go to Hawaii staying in a comparable hotel. Food in Hawaii is also a lot more expensive, although it's not cheap in Aruba either.

I wish I had seen it now...were staying at our timshare and nothing like the Radisson but a beach is a beach and thats all I need
our honeymoon will cost about 3,000- 1,100 for tix, 380 for our TS fee, and the rest for new clothes and food/expenses

I went to Aruba this past June with my fiance........it was the BEST trip we've ever gone on! Last nights show is just 1/2 of what the island has to offer...it's so beautiful (and it never rains) Thinking about going back for my honeymoon but want to go someplace different.

We are planning on going to Aruba for our HM. I have no idea where to stay that will not break the bank! We are also debating between all inclusive or a regular hotel.

DH and I just got back from Aruba (we were there for Easter) We stayed at the Hyatt for 3 nights then the Wyndham for 3 nights. IMO the Hyatt and the Radisson are beautiful hotels (we couldn't get a room at the Radisson) We didn't have an all -inclusive and food is expensive but here's what we did - breakfast - we would walk to the Dunkin Donuts about 2 blocks away, lunch - we usually ate on the beach - about $30 for two dinner - while there we went to Sole Mare (loved it), Madame Jeannettes, El Gauchos, Vittorios and some others I can't remember. Dinner for 2 (we usually had drinks, maybe an appetizer) was around $100 for two.
It's a beautiful island - and you'll love it no matter where you stay
p.s. - I did the best at the slots in the Radisson too!

I'm a Newbie here.....just signed up today...we are going to Bucuti Beach for our Honeymoon July 31. So excited, have heard wonderful things about it. The airfare was expensive, but our resort was very reasonable. Alison

I'm going there...but dont watch the Bachelor. Glad it looked nice, though! I actually found out yesterday that one of my co-workers stayed at the same resort we're going to and LOVED it!

NO!! DottieMchugh I didnt get to see it. BUT, we are going to Aruba for our HM...at least that is what the plan is. We have to see how much it is going to be. BUT, I have heard WONDERFUL things about it!!! CANT WAIT!!!

Iam and cant wait...I rather have the honeymoon then the wedding haha..all the stress...My brother & sisiter in law went there 13 years ago and now are going next year for there b-days....Iam so looking forward to it....i got a great deal too...

Oh I am so excited too!!! We're staying at the Hyatt in Aruba for a week after our November wedding. It's Thanksgiving week so I'm a little worried about too many kids being there, but what can ya do. Anyway it did look gorgeous on the Bachelor - i loved the private dinner on the beach:) SO romantic! unfortunately he shared it with that conceited snob Sarah...it's amazing how editing makes it look like they have the best connection. I was duped!
Anyway I wish I was going to Aruba RIGHT NOW!!!

We went on our HM to Aruba and it was AMAZING!! We did research, and for us, Aruba was cheaper than Hawaii. We stayed at a great timeshare (La Cabana - so nice, and the view was heavenly), as a gift from my mom and stepdad, but we still spent about $3000 on stuff there in a week - but we did everything - snorkeling trips, ATV tour, dinner at nice restaurants, etc. I WOULD LOVE TO GO BACK!! Vittorino's was awesome - such good food. We also ate at this steak place, I will try to remember the name and write it here, and Carlos n Charlies was a really fun bar. Really fun.
