I'll have to think about this one. Is it open to anyone. I'll give my BM a call and see if she wants to go. FI is working 3pm till 11:30 tonight doing OT.

I've never been to a bridal showcase - what do they do there - just give like mini presentations?? Are some better than others?

Melissa: I went to the one at Douglaston Manor and it s ucked! There were very few vendors. I did get a lot of bridal mags though. The limo company showcasing their limos had the nerve to bring a banged up Excursion I couldn't believe it when I saw it.

You're welcome. It really was a waste. We stayed for about 1/2 hour.

I'll have to tell my dad. He saw an ad about it in a paper and told me about it.

We were going to go but Brian wanted to go in for OT.

I cant believe a limo company showed up with a beat up excursion. You stayed a lot longer then we would have. We would have walked in, did a look around and left.

Yeah that's how I found out about it. My FMIL saw it in the paper and we requested the tickets. The reason we stayed so long is b/c FMIL saw a invitation/favor vendor there that turned out to know her sister. So we stood there and spoke to her for a while. They were having a fashion show at around 7:30pm, but we decided not to stay b/c they were only going to show bridal gowns and I already have one.

OMG, I couldn't believe it when I saw the banged up Excursion. I turned to FMIL and said please tell me I'm seeing wrong. Please don't tell me that they came here with a messed up Excursion
What are they morons???
But they did have a Hummer which was AWESOME!! It was sooo nice inside.
