I heard it was hit hard by the hurricanes and am a little worried about our resort! Is anyone going, or has anyone heard anything?
Depens on where you are going. Dh's family is in Jamiaca and there is alot of damage reported in some areas. His grandmother lost the roof to her house and her sister lost her entire home. Now that does not mean the resort you are staying at is damaged..hotels and resorts tend to be much bigger and sturdier than the homes..call and ask a question..not to the rep here but the actual resort itself.

We are going to Jamaica for our HM. Even though it is not until next year hurricanes are still an issue. I wouldn't worry about. Just go and enjoy yourself. Like the girls said hotels are much stronger than small houses.
