I am going with my sister tonight. I hope it is better than the event I went to last week, but I think it will be the same. My sis got cheap tickets through her job (she works for Estee Lauder).

Last night's event was AMAZING!!! It was definitely geared more towards the NYC wedding crowd. Lots of high-end vendors! The caterers had free samples of some amazing food, and the bakeries had some of the tastiest cakes I've ever had.
It was well worth the price of admission for the swag bag alone. We got a cook book, another book, lots of free magazine (they're about $6 each on stands now), a vicky secret gift pouch with lip gloss and perfum, and lots of other stuff.
Plus, free open bar!

I'm glad you had a good time. I was at the Roosevelt Hotel for the Weeding Salon last week and they gave out a great goodie bag too with open bar. I love those.

You were there? I was there too! This one was 100 times better because it was so much less crowded. Alot more vendors who I actually got to speak with. And they gave you the swag bag at the beginning!
I'll never go to the Wedding Salon event again. I didn't enjoy it. I will definitely go to the NY Wedding event EVERY year!

Thanks for the feedback. I was there at 4:00 and was out by 5:15. I didn't know about NY Wedding until Monday night and was told it was I think $100 per tickets plus they were not giving out anymore goodies bags with tickets. So I said forget that and I'm was go home. I work in Midtown, so I don't have a problem going the NYC shows, but when I was told no more goodie bag for a paid ticket then its not worth it..

Oh, you got out before I even came in last week!
We should meet for lunch since I work in midtown too.
My sis got 4 tickets for $100. And we each got a swag bag. Next year I already told my coworkers we should all go even if some of them are married because it was alot of fun.
And swag bags were first come first serve - but they didn't seem to be running out of them. It didn't seem like people were not getting them either - everyone got the same colored wristband.
