Anyone going to TTC immediately after the wedding?

Just wondering..why? My FH wants to because he says he is getting 'old' (he is 31, I will be 26). We haven't officially decided when to start though. I think a year or 2 is good to wait. I am just curious as to others out there doing this and what your reasons are, if you feel comfortable sharing

personally it has been a year...and we are not TTC quite yet...probably sometime in 1 - 1 1/2 years more..

We did semiplan that we wanted to have 2 children, before I was 35 (when more complications can happen)

I think our dog takes a lot of attention...so I cannot imagine how our relationship will change when children are added...so we are enjoying our time

exactly...I think we should enjoy our time, save some $ . He is impatient! and not old - LOL! I want a dog too!! We have 2 cats now.

we'll probably wait a year or two. (id like to graduate first, that may be two years)
I have a 'kid by 30' guideline!! (which will also be 2 years after marriage)

Fh and I have been together 10 years.

People think I am going to be preggo right away- but to tell you the truth - I want to wait.

It took a long time for me to want to be married as you can see.

I told FH to give me 2 more years and he said ok.

Nah we will try in my late 30s about 5 years or so.

And then if nothing happens, we will adopt

We're not - but I know a lot of people who are. It's a personal decision. I'd like to have our first before 30 - so that leaves us 4 yrs. We're married a year and 4 months. However, my mom is dying to be a grandma and waiting another 4 years is torture

. I tell her I've got 2 other sisters - one who's 29 so there's hope there! LOL

I am not, I want to be able to enjoy being marreid for a couple of years first, and I just finished my masters degree, and have bben going to school non stop since HS, so I want time for just us.

I figure maybe by the time I am 30, which will be in 3 years, but I am not definite on that.

Good Lord, No. And we ARE 30! (or will be a few months after the wedding). I need to finish my MBA first and start a new career before we start a family. We also want to travel a bit. Hope we can start a family by around age 34 or 35.
