Not a 'theme' per se but more of a 'look' we're shooting for for the reception. RH is a castle, with a 40ft vaulted ceiling, so I'm thinking lots of candlelight and something woodsy and branchy for CPs. Do any of you have thoughts/pics that would be cool to show my awesome florist? I've tried googling images but my descriptors must be off, not getting anything FAB :(

Too Cool! I went to a Bar Mitzvah in March and they had these branches...I don't have pics, but it looked really nice. I see a lot of florists doing branches in their centerpieces!

Thank you girls!!! Very helpful!! i'm off to the florist next week, i'll post pix if there's anything worth showing, not sure if i'm looking at samples or just blabbing about flowers at this point!!

HAHA I'm a big FRAUD on the LIW boards, you see i'm a queens baby and my RH is in Tarrytown. Castle
But I've gotten LOTS of advice and vendors here, so i'm stayin' until they kick me off!

I would use lots of natural fabric if you have the budget for it like berlap or hemp it will really bring the theme together. You have seen some great images from the above girls. I would try to incorporate lanterns also.. there are ton on ebay for cheap.
Deff. everything should be branchy, willows etc,
This is the theme I would of went with if I knew FH wouldn't mind. Instead I did Irish IoI

the branches are called curly willow...but there are a few different types of flowering branches as well such as Dogwood & Quince i think it is called?? I also like these silver trees that you can attach hanging votives to! HTH!
