anyone had big fight with husband or future?

I mean we've been married for about 2 months, engaged for 3, known each other fo 5 years. Tonight we got into an argument, that just kept on escalating. Honestly I cant tell you what the exact reason is, I think it has something to do with him being more lazy, and from then on, it just took off. We cooled down a bit, and went to a birthday party, but hardly spoke. came home and no speaking. he is a stubborn mule. I am not like that. I admit I can yell, and say hurtful things, but in the end, I apologize, or at least try to, and want to talk things out. He is so different, he wont acknowledge what I said, or the things that make me upset, and just act if nothing has happened, or wont talk, and wait for me to talk. I mean is this all men in particular? The silent treatment drives me crazy, especially when I am the one that is RIGHT.
ladies, anyone had a nasty argument, or did not make up right away?
please help
thanks

I don''t think you should stress about it so much. Arguments are healthy for a relationship It sounds weird, but really... How you deal with the arguments; that is what makes a relationship stronger.

I fight with my FI.. I have been with him for 5 years now. Sometimes we don''t talk for a few days! But than, eventually, one of us comes around and we ''make up''.
We especially fought the most when we first moved in together.. the first year. We would fight all the time! But once thinking about it, I realized that it is only natural. Two people moving in together is a big adjustment for both... no one is perfect. And sometimes fights are over silliest things. But if you love him, and he loves you, will get through this - and possibly many other -- fights you will have.

If you like to talk .. FM me!

I can understand where you are coming from because FI and I have a similar arguing style. Except I''m the opposite of you -- I''m the one who shuts down and doesn''t want to talk. He always wants to talk and resolve the problem right away and sometimes I just want to stay quiet and be mad at him. But I eventually do want to talk about it again. But FH has gotten me to talk a little more now when I don''t feel like it. I''ve realized that it kind of an immature way to handle an argument. And he''s learned to understand that sometimes things can''t be resolved instantly.

So when when your husband comes around and wants to talk again - and he will - try to also talk about your arguing style. Explain to him that both of have to learn to talk constructively in order to resolve problems in your relationship. A marriage is work! Good luck!

I think everyone has had their fair share of arguements with their H or FH. For me, I am always the one who is talking and trying to sort things out. He can be quiet at times but when he knows he is wrong (and this may take a day or two) he tries to talk and claims that he comes in peace.

FH and I NEVER fight!! hahahahah Im kidding, everyone on here knows I moved out for a week a few months ago..
Unfortunalet fighting is healthy is ya fight right, Im just leraning how to do that. When I fight I need space, FH wants to talk it out immediately, I cant see straight until I calm down, now we can respect each others fighting patterns. Do you have the rules of fighting? I have them in one of my counseling books, If anyone wants them FM me and Ill send them! They make alot of sense, I hope tat you and your husband are doing better and that you are feeling better!!
I really belive thats why we have girlfriends, so when our men piss us off, we still have others to hang out with!

so funny you posted this...I just poted on NWR about how long you fight for, when you feel you are right. My FH drove me so angry last night. He does not always feel the need to understand my side or make my feelings feel justified 'he thinks I am being silly'.
