I found a dress that I am in love with from Bridal Couture of Manhasset. Just wondering if anyone got their dress from there and how they liked them.
People have had a lot of bad experiences with this place. Do a search and you will see all of the past posts.
I;m new to this, so I'm not sure how to check past posts. Can you tell me what to do? Thanks
also do a check on them with the Better Business Bureau. I don't think they have a good reputation.
I had a bad experience there. I had an appointment and it took over 15 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge me even though they weren't busy. The saleslady was a butch, and I was very uncomfortable changing in front of her. She wouldn't leave me in the rooms alone with gowns, so I had to stand there naked while she went looking through racks! She showed me one gown that I fell in love with, and told me it was a one of a kind from a designer from Italy. She also insisted I order it that day without my mom present bc it took at least 10 months to come in. I had checked with the BBB before I went and they had 14 complaints against them (other salons have 1 or 2 at the most!) so I was not ordering there. I sketched the dress and brought it to Kleinfeld and they had that 'one of a kind'. Obviously it wasn't one of a kind and it wasn't even from Italy! It was also much cheaper at Kleinfeld. Anyway, I went in February and that woman is STILL calling me about this stupid dress!
