Anyone had this issue?

I blocked rooms at a hotel for OOT guest. I looked around and (thought) I found the best prices I could find in the area.
I was setting up STDs and had emailed FFIL about wording (I'm horrible w/grammar) and he pointed out a discrepancy in pricing. I had been told the 'discount' I was giving was aprox. $40 less than normal room rates, but the hotels website is showing prices of $20 less than I was quoted for a standard room without the discount! I called the salesperson I have been dealing with at 11am this morning and she said she would 'look into it' She never called me back! I'm not sure what I should do........

It is normal for the rate change since you were quoted. I would keep following-up though because they should be honoring the lowest rate.

Would it change that much in only a few days??
