IBS(Irritable Bowel Syndrome)? I was just diagnosed with this yesterday. I have been in such bad pain for months and had great difficulty going to the bathroom. I know this nasty stuff, but I'm scared and confused. My other doctor found a fibroid tumor on my uterus lining. I am going to do some research on this today, but just wondering if anyone has this and how do you cope with it?

I have it and I know a few other girls have it. You are supposed to eat a high fiber, low fat diet ... I have a mild case and it rarely flares up but I do get stomachaches fairly often.

See my case is considered severe he said b/c of how often and intense my abdomen pain is, so he put me on Zelnorm. What do you take?
