I used to have 2 of them. Well I had a big aquarium for both of them, I don't know how big your turtles are at the moment, but they do need a bit of room...I had gotten a water filter but my turtles were weird and hated it so I took it out. It was a pain because I had to CONSTANTLY clean the aquarium. Also because of that fact everytime i would feed them I would take them out and put them in these smaller plastic containers to eat bc the food would dirty the water...My turtles would eat the dried up shrimp which is one of the most typical turtle foods, you can find it at any pet store, and also the food sticks for turtles. They also eat alot of greens but mine wouldn't eat any so i stopped giving it to them.
Be careful when handling them, EVERY time after touching them wash your hands with antibacterial soap bc they carry salmonella, especially the little ones.
