Anyone have a Breast Reduction, then children?

Anyone have a Breast Reduction, then children?

Just wondering if your chest went back to its original state or if it remained smaller?

I'm contemplating having a reduction, but my fear is that I'll have children and need the procedure all over again. I'm just trying to figure out if it's best to wait until we have children or if I should follow through with the procedure.

Any info. or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks girls!

I am not sure 100% jenny but I was looking into it myself. The doctor I spoke with told me it was silly not to wait till after this baby ( I had told him I wanted to get pregnant right afterwards)

I assume they go back down to 99% of what they were.. Its just with pregnancy, some woman do gain it more in some places then others and then you might have to work a bit to take it back off ( including your chest)
I want more children but I am so uncomfortable that I dont plan to wait for another before having the reduction. I gave in one time, but either way now I plan to have it done.
If they grow back a tiny bit I figure I would still be more comfortable then with what I have right now.

Although I am not pregnant, I had a breast reduction and my doctor told me that my boobs will probably get bigger when I am pregnant, but they should definately go back to my smaller size. I was concerned about this also. If my boobs do not go back, I will definatley have the procedure again because it was so worth it!

Can you still breast feed if you have this done?

I just questioned the doctor about this stuff.

She told me to wait until after the baby b/c there is a good chance of needing the surgery again anyway.

Jenhos, to answer your questions, they say there is definitely a chance that it WILL negatively affect BFing.
If certain vessels/ducts are damaged during the surgery, you may not be able to BF and they cannot guarantee that you will.
