Re: Anyone have a good cookie recipie?

I posted this recipe yesterday. It's for coconut biscotti, and I dyed the coconut red and green to make it christmassy

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon fresh ground nutmeg
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1/2 cup coconut

Preheat oven 300 degrees. Combine all dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, nutmeg). In a separate bowl, combine eggs, sugar and vanilla; beat with electric mixer for 2 minutes on medium speed. Add flour mixture and coconut to egg mixture and stir with spoon. Dough will be very sticky! Turn dough out on a heavily floured surface, knead 7-8 times. Shape dough into a 15''x3'' roll. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, pat into 1'' thickness. Bake for 40 minutes until golden brown. Cool on wire rack for 5 minutes.
Cut roll diagonally into 1/2'' slices and stand upright on baking sheet. Bake again for 15-20 minutes to crispen sides. Remove from baking sheet and cool completely on wire rack.

Re: Anyone have a good cookie recipie?

Here goes:

Tequila Christmas Cookies

1 cup of water
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup of brown sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
4 large eggs
1 cup of nuts
2 cups of dried fruit
1 bottle of Tequila

Sample the Tequila in a large glass to check quality

Take a large bowl, and check the Tequila again, to be sure it is of the
Highest quality. Pour one level cup and drink.

Turn on the electric mixer, Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl.
Add one teaspoon of sugar. Beat again.

At this point, it's best to make sure the tequila is still ok, so try another cup.

Turn off the mixerer thingy.

Break 2 leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit.

Pick the frigging fruit and damm cup off the floor .

Mix on the turner. If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers, just
Pry it loose with a drewscriver.

Sample the tequila to check for tonsisticity.

Next, sift two cups of salt, or something. Check the Tequila

Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts.

Add one table.

Add a spoon of sugar, or somefink. Whatever you can find.

Greash the oven.

Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over.

Don't forget to beat off the turner

Put the bowl through the window, finish off the booze and make sure to
Put The dirty stove in the dishwasher.

CHERRY MISTMAS TO ALL

hahaha...not a real recipe...but I couldn't help it!!! =)

Re: Anyone have a good cookie recipie?

I don't know if you can substitute the confectioner's sugar but these are my favorite Christmas cookies.. They're the little ball cookies covered in confectioners. MMMMMMMMMMMMM.

1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/3 c. soft butter
2 c. Bisquick
1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional - just as delicious without)
1 tsp. vanilla
1-2 tsp. water
Confectioners' sugar

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix sugar and butter. Stir in Bisquick, pecans and vanilla. Add enough water to moisten dough. Shape into 1' balls. Place on ungreased sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes (set, not brown). Remove immediately. Cool 5 minutes on rack. Shake in bowl with confectioners' sugar. Makes 3 dozen.
