Lillettes in Bellmore was by far my favorite - although I didn't buy my gown there.
I also really loved Bridal Reflections in both Carle Place and Massapequa (Carle Place has higher end dresses).
I bought my dress in Brooklyn.

I loved my experience at the Wedding Plaza in Floral Park, but you NEED to ask for Luanne. She was absolutely AMAZING! She's the one that actually chose the dress for me!! She even remembers my name everytime I go in there!

I went to 4 or 5 diff salons on LI then to Kleinfeld. Kleinfeld was the best, hands down for both service and selection.
I was going to say the same thing. My experience at Kleinfeld's was AMAZING. I can't imagine having bought my dress any place else. I am not sure of your budget but don't think you need to spend tons of money to be able to get a dress there.

I was at Lillettes today and they were great!
I absolutely love Bridal Elegance in Huntington. They have a wide price range of dresses. My FSIL got her dress from them last year. She saw in at RK Bridal in the city (which seems to have a TON of dresses- haven't gone there yet) and Bridal Elegance ordered the gown for her and even gave her a better price. They are local and she no problems with alterations at all.
