I wouldn't say that I have a mean one it is jsut that sometimes I don't know how to approach her.When Fh and I got together he made it seem that she was like the mom from HELL! Recently I told her that I will need her to cut down her list of people and she caught an attitude. I mean WE are paying for the wedding not them.

Mine is inviting people jsut to invite...bc I have a bigger family then she does..she feels she needs the same...For 2 people that wants a small wedding i jsut want imediate family and close freinds.....That to me is a waste to invite jsut to invite... SHe DEFINTILY means well ya know but sometimes she doesnt know when to stop...I guess you can say Marie Baron from everybody loves raymond? Dont get me wrong..there are defintly good times...but this is her Only son....

If I hear my son My son one more time I am going to puke. If he asked her to wipe his butt for him she would be running in the bathroom. The first few years we were together it was a running joke...Momma Drink.. Momma Light.. Momma Chicken cutlet... we went on vacation one time and he asked me to get him a drink or something and I was like why dont you call Momma drink and it all stopped from his end. But what a control freak she is with her son her son.. too bad she isnt as involved with her daughter her daugher....Yuck yuck yuck
She has so much to say about my wedding..She is telling me how she is going to take me to these places for gowns in the city and how the designers work and how she has a dressmaker who can make me a dress. I was like hi My father ran a designers studio for years, and I have a mother who is a dressmaker, who worked in the garment district for years why do I need you to take me anywhere or have anyone you know make me a dress knowing this how my mother makes a living???
And then she needs to know how much we are paying for everything so she can throw it in our face that so and so is paying less than that. I finally told her the other day that since she is not paying for the wedding and we are there is no need for her to know what anything costs. That ended that problem right then and there.

I have to say that mine is pretty damn awesome!!! I hope i don't bite my tongue, but seriously, she is another mom to me and i love her. She never had a daughter and suddenly she is getting two!!!
