Hi I am new to the LIW I am an 07 bride. I went to a wedding where there was a magician maybe he wasn't a magician but he did some cool card tricks and a knife trick at every table and people jus tloved him. Has anyone seen anything or thought to do something like that? I am trying to hire someone like that for our wedding any help would be great.

I was trying to decide what to do because I wanted something fun and different, I thought of magician, comedian, roving artists that paint your picture... I actually decided to do a casino with blackjack, poker, roulette, and craps. My family LOVES to play cards and so do a lot of our guests so I thought it was something a lot of people would like.
I think it's a great idea, so if you want to, you should go for it!

Thanks I thought about a casino as well but would you be doing that during the cocktail hour or the reception? I guess I just want something to entertain the guests during cocktail hour but I don't want anything to take the attention off of the dance floor during the reception hour. Have you been to any weddings where any of these things were going on?

i wasn't going to have a magician but what i wanted to do was have my FH pull our assorted magic props (hankerchiefs etc) from under my dress in his search for the garter...then we decided against it.
