Anyone have a MUST Play List for their DJ??

Hey Everyone - I am getting married in 2 weeks - I can't believe it, but I am freaking out b/c I have so much to do...

Does anyone have a MUST Play list for their DJ? I want to have a mix of classic wedding songs (Brown Eyed Girl, etc.) that will get everyone dancing (both young and old)....

Then during dinner, I'm assuming slow songs?

Once it starts to get a little later, I am thinking I'd like to get some hip hop music going (Big E, Black Eyed Peas, etc.) so the young people can dance and have a blast....

Not sure, that's what I'm thinking of now.

But, if any of you have put together a MUST play list for your DJ, I would REALLY appreciate it. Thanks!!

I don't have one yet, but I wouldn't worry too much about dinner hour, you won't even notice what is playing and I am SURE they just pop in a tape of standard 'dinner music'.

But I would like to see others lists...your ideas are similar to mine.

I think what you have sounds good. That is pretty much what we're going to tell our DJ as well. BUMPING for lists that people may have already made up :)

I didn't really do one. I told them a few songs I like, and thats it. To me, I hired the DJ to his job -play good music that would get the crowd excited and dancing - and know what music to play at the right times. I trusted him to do his job, and he did just that. People are telling me how great the music was!
