Anyone have a stretch mark remedy?

I've tried a few different creams. I have bad stretch marks underneath and in back of my upper arm. I also have them on my lower stomach and hips and am embarassed to wear a bikini because of them...I'd like to do something before the HM because I saw a bikini I would looooove to wear..

There was a thread about that several months ago. A lot of people were swearing by Palmer's coco butter or something like that.

Edited for spelling... (heard Spanish all last week!!!)

Cocoa butter works GREAT to prevent stretch marks. I used that and Vitamin e during both pregnancies and wound up with NO stretch marks -- and I gave birth to 2 boys over 9 lbs each!

If you already HAVE stretch marks, Mederma is good. I had a couple on my breasts after feeding. It doesn't ELIMINATE them... but it fades them until they are a LOT less noticable!

Good luck!

vitamin e oil is amazing. vitamin e is pretty much the active ingredient in many scar removal creams, so just using it straight is better and cheaper. you should be able to get it in a vitamin store. put a little on in the morning and at night after you shower (and anytime you think about it during the day if you want).

btw, it's also supposed to be really good for your hair if you eat it. follow the directions on the back as to dosages and stuff.
