I am meeting with my financial advisor Thursday to discuss my retirement allocations. I think I am going to start putting into an SRA also. If you have one, how much do you put in per pay period?

Re: Anyone have an SRA in addition to retirement?
You know I do. Currently, I put $25 every pay period, but I really need to increase it.

Thanks! I was thinking maybe $50 to start.

No, I have a Roth IRA too, but we also have an SRA option--Supplemental Retirement Annuity? Maybe just at my job? The $ you put in gets deducted from your salary for tax purposes.

Re: Anyone have an SRA in addition to retirement?
I am such a goof with that stuff.
Jim does it all. Literally!
I give him my log in and password to my 401k and stock purchase plans and it's his job to make it grow.
I know we have about 4 types of savings for retirement. Don't know their names or their amounts. Only know my 401K.
Oh and how painful my stock took a hit this year! *sigh*
