NOT TTC but thought this might be the right board to post this on.. Went for a pap less than a month ago and it came back abnormal. The Dr. told me today that on the spectrum of abnormalities it came back the slightest of the #'s .Today I had the first of two biopsy's that I have to have done.(OMG WHAT PAIN ) I have to go again in a week.. they are searching for the reason for this abnormality and the Dr. has stressed it is not precancerious cells. I am hoping the biopsy comes back with something that I can handle.. I'm felling really stressed and the results won't be back for about 10 days. Has anyone had any experience with this? Thanks

Re: Anyone have any info???
I had this done a year ago - and I feel your pain (no pun intended). Why do they have to do two biopsies though - they did one for me and it came back negative and I haven't had an abnormal pap since then.

Re: Anyone have any info???
I haven't experienced this myself, but I have a few friends who have... two of them had the biopsy and it came back negative and everything was fine... the other came back positive for an STD, but a very minor one... from what I understand, it is very common to come back with abnormal test results and for it to be absolutely nothing, so try not to worry too much...
My Pap came back abnormal with precancer cells, but when I went for the follow up, it came back normal. Yes, Biopsie was excruciating, I made her stop mid-procedure becasue I couldn't deal with the pain. I hope everything comes back ok...
