My FH and I are going to look at The Woodland at the Oyster Bay golf course later this month...I love the pics I've seen but I've heard their food isn't that great...anyone have any feedback on this place?

I have price info for a Sat. night in July - it was 150pp with 150 min.
The grounds are beautiful... but that was about all I liked about it. Just my opinion though....

I was in LOVE with this place, but the dance floor was tiny and that was a dealbreaker. Otherwise, the place is stunning.

ditto on the pricing we got...we thought the place was gorg and i believe you can eat at the restaurant if you're worried about the food to get a sneak peak. our only concern was the shape of the room because if I remember correctly it was like a T or something odd and FH didnt really like that. Its def worth a look though, its a lovely place

the food at the woodlands is absolutely amazing. it ws the best food i've eaten at a wedding and many people told me the same. they all said that they've never had their filet mignon so perfectly cooked at a wedding before.
i cant help you with pricing since i booked 2 years ago but i had an awesome wedding there. fm if u have more questions.
