anyone have any thoughts about Abigail Kirsch

Hello Everybody! I am pretty new to the site and new to the planning world. I was wondering if any of you have used Abigail Kirsch. I am going to look at The Snuff Mill on the Botanical Gardens. It looks wonderful, but would like to know if anyone has some 1st hand knowledge about A.K or the Gardens.Thank You.

Welcome to the boards! I recently went to a wedding at the Botanical Gardens (Abigail Kirsch) and I have to say that the food was by far the best wedding food I have ever had! Let me know if you have any specific questions that I can try to answer for you.

I had her food at chelsea piers lighthouse for a firm event, my fh still talks about a potato dish she had, it was very good.

I have attended weddings at two AK facilities: The Botanical Gardens and Tappan Hill. AK has fabulous food and service, but is also definately a brand name that charges more then venues of equal quality without the name. If you've got the money to spend, go for it, you won't be disappointed.

Friends of mine got married at Tappen Hill and were very happy with it.

But from what I hear - very lovely. I looked into her places in the beginning, and wasn't thrilled with the help I received over the phone. But I know the food is supposed to be great - and the service. As far as the locations - I didn't like Tappan Hill. I don't know why. The ceiling was low or something...that little Snuff place at Botanical is nice, but I think it only holds 125, and the Conservatory is lovely. Good luck! And hold onto your wallet!
