starlight does it to... I think its nice but even my dj said its not really worth the extra $$ for the one hour ( i was gunna do it for cocktiail hour) - how much do they charge ??

i wanted this. we both love sinatra. my mom just told me that she and my cousin (who works @ jillians and saw this guy do a party) were going to surprise us with this @ the wedding, but she didn't want to do it without us knowing, in case we had other plans for the recpetion because it takes up a whole hour. ANYWAY, i saw ELITE Enterntainment's Sinatra guy and he was great. The guy my cousin saw is an NYPD cop and does this on the side---$500 seems like an awful lot of $$$, but that must be the going rate, this guy charges the same! I think it's sooo cool though!!

Awsome!! My sisters been to so many weddings with them.. and myself and my FMIL just went to an anniversary party... everyone loved them.. but you pay for it :)

Yeah, you definitley do... I think $650 for a half hour is crazy though! But, FH loves frank sinatra and he really wanted a band, so maybe this will make up for it a bit...

i thought most bands had a Sinatra singer? Almost every band I looked at had one person who specialized in Sinatra/Tony Bennett stuff. I can't say they are all great but at least they come as part of the band.
Unfortunately, the Sinatra guy from the band I booked is my least favorite band member so we are going to cut down on the number of songs he might possibly sing. It's too bad but the band is awesome in every other way so we are sucking it up since it wasn't going to be a major part of the music anyway!

I had a Frank Sinatra singer sing at my cocktail hour and did this all through my DJ, Tommy's Tunes.
The guy who sings like Frank Sinatra's name is Gene Santini. He was FANTASTIC!!!!!
All of my guests RAVED about him.
I thought it was a unique thing to do...and my grandmother (who is deceased) absolutely LOVED Frank Sinatra, so this was my tribute to her.

He really is great, but the reason I was told he was so expensive is because he also sings for a band, so if he books for your wedding, he loses the work with the band and usually good bands average $6,000 maybe??? So he could possibly lose money.
I loved him though, and wanted him singing during dinner, because I HATE that KENNY G they usually play!!!

at the manor east expo, they had a frank sinatra singer, the crowd seemed to like him.. i liked him, although i think ill just save the money and play more of his songs durring the cocktail hour instead...
