ANyone have Glamour Shot photos they'd like to share?
I'd love to see some. I've done it twice. I think it was fun! I don't thinkI'd do it again though - way too expensive.

They are still open? I used to go all the time when I was younger for my Pageant Pics and when I was a senior in High School I one some competition and they paid for me to have my pics done there. I thought they all closed down years ago

They closed down and then reopened in the smithhaven mall. I know a girl who works there.

It's so weird, I haven't thought about Glamour Shots since I was like 16(except of course in Napoleon Dynamite) Then I saw this post . Then when I checked my email there was a $100 coupon for Glamour Shots! Weird!!

I went to the one in Roosevelt Field once and I didn't like it at all. They did an awful job on my hair and makeup, I sat waiting for a photographer for like an hour and a half, by which time my hair had fallen flat, and then they took these awful pictures of me. Before I got to see them, they kept saying 'Oh you're going to love them so much, I hope you brought a lot of money. And if you didn't you can call a friend for their credit card number.' It was so OBVIOUS. So anyway when I didn't like the pictures and didn't want to buy any, they started harrassing me and getting on my case, saying I was crazy that I didn't like them. Meanwhile the makeup had been so caked on that it looked like I had wrinkles, so the pictures just *had* to be retouched. Hmm, that's funny, the professional pictures I'd had taken a few weeks earlier at my WEDDING didn't show any wrinkles on my face.
THEN they lost the one portrait I ordered and tried to tell me that some guy named Chris had picked them up for me. I then told them I didn't know what they were talking about, that no one knew I'd even Been to Glamour Shots. SO after I told them I'd talk about my bad experience on the radio, they finally came around and gave me some reasonably acceptable customer service.
Long story short? Glamour Shots is all about the money, and they do your makeup to make their touch ups necessary.
