anyone have ideas on...

...how to say a special thank you during our wedding to the woman that introduced me and FH? She is a really close family friend on my side and I've known her for years. She is not in the bridal party, and I am going to ask her to do a reading at the church but I don't feel like that is enough. What else can I do?? A special gift? Some other kind of recognition??

yes, or when the best man (or MOH if you are having her do one as well) gives their toast, ask them to say something about her.....i attended another LIW bride's wedding in March and her MOH made a comment (though hers was jokingly done) about how she knew 'they were meant to be(or that it was true love?) when they met at the crazy donkey.'

the song idea or having it added to the toast will catch everyone's attention and let them know why you are casting light on her. very sweet of you by the way.
