It runs through your existing broadband and lets you keep your phone number (at least in my area it said I could). Just wondering what the service is like? I have friends with the optonline phone who have service problems. Thanks!
when we first got it we had nothing but problems, both with our phone and the cable modem. whenever the cable modem goes out, your phone goes out too. well, the cable modem was always out and we'd have to reboot everything all the time and sometimes that didn't work. Well, it turns out we had something wrong with the router so att&t overnighted us a new one and since then we haven't had any problems. you can't beat the price! and i like being able to check my voicemail from any computer. it has a lot of other nice features too
