If you have pin straight hair that does not curl easily and lays perfectly flat no matter what(like mine) DO NOT get layers in the back. I did this once and it looked like split ends and broken hair. My hair has absolutely no wave to it and I did this once thinking I could give my hair some UMPH and I was so p-od.

I'm in desperate need of a haircut too. My hair grows so fast, and my layers are already grown out. Are long bangs back in style? The ones where they are long enough to blend in with the rest of your hair when you wear it pulled back or to the side.
