I am planning this month to have restylane injections for the dark circles under my eyes. Anyone have this procedure done on them yet?

i didn't realize that it was used for dark circles --i thought just wrinkles...i would be curious to find out more about it --i have dark circles under my eyes too.

Me too -- I have never-ending dark circles no matter how much sleep or iron I have. I'm keeping Laura Mercier in business with how much of her concealer I buy

I use laura mercier concealer too!!!
I am almost positive the derm said it was restylane that he was going to inject. The idea is that it fills the hollow space below your eyes thereby removing the shadow that exists.
I told DH. He told me to buy an eye patch for $5 instead.

I have the same problem! And I don't know what to do for it because they're not bags under my eyes, it's like a sunken-in-ness. I saw the Restylane on Oprah the other day (at least I think that's what it was). Let us know how it goes!

I do use a special eye cream the derm gave me. It improves the quality of the skin a little bit. I am definitely getting it done within the next two weeks, so I will update everyone. I go to Wexler Dermatology in NYC. Patricia Wexler is the famous derm that is on all of the shows and mags. I use Dr. Howe in the office. He is the nicest doctor ever! He actually sent me a wedding card. I highly recommend the office for cosmetic derm procedures. I went to two other well known derms on L.I. But because they don't specialize in cosmetic procedures, they were not that helpful. Dr. Howe made my skin (and my mom's) so much better it is crazy!!

are the results permanent? i use a special eye cream too and that seems to help a little. i think it depends on the cause of the dark circles too...
