Anyone have shelves/ledges like this?

I'd love to see photos of how they look in 'real' homes and what you display on them.

I have them, and have yet to put them up because I just can't figure out where/how to put them up, or what to put on them!

Are they hard to put up? I have a little one between my sconces (or should i say your sconces since you have the same one) and it was pretty simple but these are a lot bigger.

I do, I will have to take a pic. I have 2 of them, but they are not stacked over each other. They are uneven. Hope that makes sense. Hubby put them up, not sure if they were hard. I have pic frames, a candle, and vase on them.

It takes a lot of concentration, and a level....

I bought two of them in two sizes, and I can't figure out where/how I like them so they are still sitting on the floor.

Nope, zippo on bookcases. Everything is too small or too big or not the right style. As seen in my hallowen photos..i still have ugly crappy wall unit that i hate!

I have them next to the sconces that both you and I have. They are a pain to put up. Gary did one and I did one. I'll have to take a photo, although since we got new bedroom furniture, one had to come down and I am not sure where to put it now since it was the same on either side of the window. I'll post a pic tonight because I am sure this makes no sense.

Actually I found a picture : ). This was a few months ago so there are more pictures on the shelves now but you get the idea....

I was just looking through the Pottery Barn Catalogue last night and always wanting to get them. Is that where you are going to purchase them. What color are you thinking of?

OK, these I have in my dining room...

But this is the predicament in our bedroom, the ones on the right of the window were mimicked on the left of the window but now we have an armoire there. How can I put the other ledge on the right side without having to move the ledge and frame and even sconce that is already there? (Sorry for sabotaging your thread Stef!)

Stace - Where did you get the ledges? Did you get them at Pottery Barn or elsewhere?

Cindy, I got all mine at Target. Don't buy them at Pottery Barn because they are the same shelves at Target for probably half the price. The ones in the dining room were a light tan and I painted them white (which worked out well even though the wood was finished already) and I bought the brown ones as is.
