Anyone have sinus issues?

Ladies-
Sorry for the NWR topic but wanted to know if anyone had any advice. Last week I called out sick two days because I had a bad sinus infection. I've been on my antibiotic for 6 days and I now feel worse! My throat is killing me and I feel like I could sleep for days. Anyone have any advice? I called my doctor but she is not getting back to me.

Try the hottest shower that you can stand -or if your head hurts really bad lay down with NOTHING on in a dark room and put an icepack on your eyes....

also try a saline solution spray (you can get one over then counter)-mostly though you just have to let the meds kick in...

I had really bad sinus infections last year. Sinus infections in general are hard to get rid of. You should you a saline spray try the Zicam ones. Also, vicks vapor rub really helped too. If your throat is bothering you it could mean that the infection is moving to your throat (that's what happened to me) to help your throat try Tylenol Soar Throat Syrup and Fever Reducer. About taking time off from work the best thing to do is stay home for a few days especially if you have allergies (they can irratate the sinuses). Drink lots of hot tea and soup.
