I don't know to much about it, my cousin has it. I haven't heard her say any bad things about it.

I have it. My bill is $34.07/month. The only problem I have gotten is that my mom says that I cut out sometimes talking. I hear everyone crystal clear. I like looking up on my computer who called and didn't leave a message!

Sounds much better than my $80/month unlimited calling plan - AT&T One Rate.

If your DSL line is down (assuming that when the cable goes out your DSL is out too???) does your phone not work? I have yet to have an outage but am curious.

If the DSL line is down you have no phone. If you have good coverage with your cell at home (unlike me) then this shouldn't be a problem.

There is also a program called Skype.com which is free to call other skype members (my whole family has it and we are all over the globe), and super-cheap phone calls to people who don't have it....
