PMS around wedding day????? im so angry about this i shouldnt have my period for the wedding but you never know but i have cramps and moodiness. Did you take anythind for it cause MIDOL makes me sleepy. i know this is a weird question but i need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Totally not a weird question, I've wondered the same thing.
For me, it's got to be Advil. Two first thing in the morning before I eat and another two in the afternoon for the first few days. But I don't typically get cramps (just nauseousness and back pain) so I don't know how it would be for cramping.
Months ago, I was always on schedule to get 'it' on the 10th every month. I'm getting married the 11th!! So I was worried, needless to say. Didn't want to be wearing a white dress on a heavy day!!! And wedding night would be disaster!
But my friend at work was closer to the beginning of the month and she and I synchronized our cycles over the last few months. And there is truth to that, that women who work together tend to synch with the 'dominant' female. We're proof!!

I don't know if you take the pill but you could skip the placebos for that month and go straight to the next package. This will skip your period altogether. I take Seasonal and only get it four times a year.

Well, when I booked our wedding date, the first thing I did was go to the calender and calculate when I was going to get my period. It looks as though I get my period one week before the wedding and one week after the honeymoon. I am going to be a crabby b**** the week of...this sux!

i get my period the week before my wedding. i'm sure that is going to be the busiest week and i'm going to be an absolute biotch!!! oh well.

This is the reason why I started the pill. It may sound weird, but as soon as we booked our date, I went to the doctor and started the pills. This way if I am supposed to get it, I can skip it for the month. No way I am spending my HM like that. I don't even mind my wedding day, I mind the HM.
If you are not supposed to be getting it this weekend, it could be stress that is causing it. Try to take it easy, and hopefully the cramps will go away. BTW, I hope you have a great time this weekend. Enjoy every second and I can't wait to hear all about it!

thanks for the advice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we are not honeymooning except for a 2 night stay in the city so im praying my body hols off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i also hope my joy that day will erase any possibilty of b****ness i might have. oh well life goes on and IM GETTING MARRIED AFTER 7 1/2 YEARS OF WAITING AND 2 KIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

the answer is 'the pill!'. You can control when you get it, like the other girls said. I REFUSE to have my period on our wedding day or the honeymoon. My gyno even said to call her in the summer to plan out my pill taking so I don't get it that week.
