We're thinking of doing that, having a very rich, chocolately cake for his...but how does that work, does everyone get two piece of cake? Wedding cake and groom's cake?

Re: Anyone having a groom's cake?
You can have the groom's cake cut up and put in boxes for guests to take home. Or serve it along with the other cake. At ours there was just so much cake that we wound up taking home most of the groom's cake -- which was good b/c it was so yummy -- Bailey's Chocolate Cake-- YUM!

That's a great idea! And where did you get the Bailey's cake???? YUMMM
we were going to do it, but the hall was going to charge us a cake cutting fee, so we are going to have it at the RD. check with your hall if they are going to charge you extra also! (If that's not in your budget)
