Re: Anyone having a March wedding?
Since your getting married in 2009 I would just look at the farmers almanac for this years weather predictions- I wish I didn't look at it though I am getting married on March 9th, 2008 and that weekend calls for rain
I am hoping and praying that they're wrong- I can deal with the cold just not rain or snow on my wedding day.

I am getting married april 4, 2009...not that far after you. Honestly, it just depends...its a freak thing...I'm not getting myself too worried.
One year it snowed on that date and the next year it was 75 degrees. I'm just not stressing

I just check the almanac: 20th-23rd Coastal storm brings more wind and precipitation for the very early Easter.
Please Pray!

You have a little over a year for this-I would not start worrying about the weather now

ITA. Honestly, any day you choose in any month there's a possibility of crappy weather. Don't drive yourself nuts over something you really have no control over. However, if you do plan on taking pictures outside, I recommend having a backup plan as well.

Don't stress about the weather. THAT IS THE ONE THING YOU CANNOT CONTROL
It poured on my wedding day, so we could not have our outdoor ceremony or CH.
Not a darn thing I could do about it, except to have alternate plans and wear my hair all up instead of half up.

Re: Anyone having a March wedding?
hello
i am getting married on march 29, 2008, and i was really worried about the weather until i talked to my photographer. He showed me wedding pictures from a wedding he did with snow and the pictures are amazing. And if it rains it means good luck. I just realized that i m not going to stress or worry about something i have no control of.
whether is rain, snow or sunny, it is your day and it will be wondeful no matter what the weather may be

Re: Anyone having a March wedding?
There is nothing you can do about the weather, and with your wedding being a year away, I wouldn't worry now. My wedding is in March (24 days away) and I'm sure there's a good chance of cold/rainy/snowy weather but I haven't even bothered to look because what can I do about it.
My MOH got married in June and there was practically a monsoon....they even closed alot of highways because of flooding, everyone was late to the cocktail hour. My point is, bad weather can happen any time of year, so try and stay focused on the million other things you'll have to plan that you can control.

Re: Anyone having a March wedding?
Good advice everyone! I am getting married 3/28/2009. I am really hoping for a nice day because of course, I would love to take some pics outside and if I got really lucky, I would definitely jump on the chance to have the ceremony and cocktail hour outside. If not, oh well! I will have to deal with it. I know that it will work out no matter what.

I got married March 10th. The week before was a snowstorm, the weekend of my wedding was around 50 degrees, the week after another snow storm.

Re: Anyone having a March wedding?
My sister got married March 24, 2007 - it was windy while taking pictures but the weather held up until everyone was inside for cocktail hour. Then it rained for a little bit but otherwise the day was great. Not too sunny so you didnt look all squinty in pictures (if that makes sense)!

Re: Anyone having a March wedding?
only worry about those things you can do something about!
I was married on January 12, 2008....it was 55 degrees out by noon when we were doing pictures. I never imagained to be doing pictures outside....yet we did because the weather was amazing. My favorite pics are my outdoor ones. Yet there were snow storm threats for the following Mondayl....
don't sweat it!
and if you ARE gonna sweat it....dont sweat it just yet...! you have plenty of time.
