A catering hall gave me a great idea. She said if I wanted a specialty drink passed around during cocktail hour. I didnt know what she was talking about. She said some brides decide to have their fav drink passed around during cocktail hour and make sure to have it as a signature drink all night in dedication to the bride. I thought this was a really cute idea and was hoping to find a different kind of cocktail that matches my personality. I was thinking maybe a chocolate martini, or a cosmopolitan...

We were thinking about his fav. drink and mine so you have your choice of corona w/ lime or apple martini lol or whatever i pick.. cant really choose.

Its part of the cocktail hour. The difference is, it will be the only drink that is passed around butler style like an hor devours (sp), unlike all the other drinks that have to be ordered.

We're doing that too. I saw one in a magazine and it looked yummy. Hopefully my guests will think so too :)

I think someone mentioned a Hot Chocolate drink with pepermint schnaps in it. I think that would be really nice for a nice cold winter wedding/

i love the specialty drink idea!! we wanted to do one, in honor of our first vacation together, but we never got around to pulling it all together.
DH's aunt did this at her wedding - passed around cosmo's - and everyone loved it! you could go to the bar if you wanted a different type of drink, too.

We are having a special drink to be passed out in the lobby as our guest come in and are checking their coats. We are having a 'Egg Nog Cart', since we are doing the whole 'X-mas Theme' Wedding. I thought this was a great idea (thought of it myself and got it okayed with cathering hall)

my specialty drink was called the snowflake!!! everyone loved it it was whitecranapple and apple vodka served in martini glasses with colored sugar
