Anyone having an outdoor ceremony?

Anyone having an outdoor ceremony?

Does anyone have any recommendations for the music for an outdoor ceremony? I don't know if I should hire a harpist, pianist or a string quartet. My wedding is actually next month and I was gonna have our band do the music for us but now i'm thinking that I'd like something different. I would like some thoughts/ideas from brides that are having an outdoor ceremony on what they are doing.

Hey Winnie!
Are you praying for good weather too - we both need it for our outdoor ceremonies that day!

I was going to have my band do it too - but I hired someone for the hospitality and the ceremony instead. I really wanted hospitality music and thought that a classical piece would make the ceremony special.
We got a violin and cello player - so it should be real pretty.
What I originally was going to do was to have my keyboard and trumpet player play during the ceremony - which would have been real pretty too. That may be an option for you!

I feel so overwhelmed ... just finished my rehearsal dinner invites, finally! Now, I'm working on the place-cards and programs! Plus we are still wrapping the favors and are moving into the apartment. So much to do! How are your plans. 25 days - can you believe it?

I'm using my DJ for the ceremony music. I didn't want to spend several hundred dollars for musicians to only be playing for a short time. I am spending several hundred for the steel band at our cocktail hour, but that's different!! I think the DJ will do just fine.

I hired a string trio for the hospitality, ceremony and cocktail through Encore music
