How much was your officiant? I am just trying to get an idea of how much they cost!

I am and I haven't booked an officiant yet but what I have been hearing is around $400

Our officiant is less than $500. I forget the amount though. The 20% gratuity isn't added in. You just pay the officiant fee and tax.

were having our friend (one of the groomsmen) get certified or something and then marry us. It was his idea and i think it will be cool. Well pay for the class or test or whatever.

I looked online and it said it only costs 32 dollars for someone to get the certificate to officiate. Can that really be right?

havent looked into it yet. our wedding is 3 years away, i figure i would look into it in a year or so lol. but hey if its only $32, even better haha

I don't know how much I was expecting but it wasn't 32 bucks. Maybe I'll start interviewing family and friends for the part!

On the PWP website, check for NIck M. I forget his last name. I actually met him twice and he is just ridiculous! He's got a great personality (made us both laugh). My FH wanted to use a friend, who is a reverend, but then after meeting Nick, he quickly changed his mind.
