anyone heard of...

'the big day'.com? It's about registering for your honeymoon.

I did change my registry to traveler's joy.com...so much better and a blast to do. FH was laughing at my dorky captions, it took my mind off a lot of stress so even if no one buys off of it, it's ok..I would def take a look

yes, my SIL did it. alot of travel agents offer it as well if you book through them.

you list it like you would any other registry in your shower invites and people can go on and purchase vouchers towards thing you can use on your HM. i think, not positive though, that there may be a fee...some sites have a small fee, like they add on a small oercentage or something

We kinda looked into it but then I read the terms and agreements which included a service fee of 7% on the total gifts actually purchased from your registry.

Also they charge your wedding guests a transaction fee of 3% of the price of the item as shown in your registry. If your guests choose to havethem print and mail a gift card, they add an additional charge of $1.65 for postage and handling.

If you arrange your travel through them you may be eligible for a discount on your service fees but i didn't look into how much b/c we decided against this one. We will probably ask our travel agent if they offer something. I do know if you go on a Royal Caribian cruise, you can give out your booking number and list of what you want on a card or your wedding website where they can book things for you directly on the Royal Caribean page. No fees anywhere... I think Sandals resorts offer something similar too..

Yes, I looked into their services. We ended up going with Travelers Joy because they laid out their terms upfront and just made it very easy to set up and manage the honeymoon registry. But I think both services have about the same fee (It's a fee taken out of each gift, not a charge to set up an account, never go with a site that charges you to set up a registry with them- there are a lot of honeymoon registries that do), so check out Travelers Joy as well if you like.

I know there is a service that has no service charge at all, but it is much more difficult to use and you can't buy gifts using a credit card. It's called Honey Fund. It looked too convoluted for us so we decided against it.
