A girl I work with told me thats where she got all her BM dresses and then her girls just got them altered at places of their choice. Has anyone else used them? TIA

Re: Anyone heard of or used 'Houseofbrides.com'?
I have heard of them. Although I do not know of anyone who has used them. I did a google search and they came up. They have great pricing, but you need to know your BM's sizes to order, then have them altered at the place of their choice.
Did you try doing a search on here?

I personally would stay away from HOB. I've heard a lot of horror stories....Why don't you check out RK Bridal or Pearls Place?

RK price matches as well - actually will beat the price by 5% - if you see a dress priced for lower than they sell it for on the internet (you just need to provide documentation).

I ordered 4 bridemaid dresses, it was over $50 cheaper than macy's, but it seems like it takes a long time for their delivery. I ordered in January they say I will receive in mid April. Geeze I'm cutting it close.

I heard of that site and heard good and bad things. I know people that used the site and loved it. And, I have seen reviews on here that are scary. I personally don't think I could order a dress online. But, if some salons beat online prices, do that instead.

Ooh I would rather do that instead of ordering it online. I also noticed they don't have Jim Hjelm dresses on their site and it seems most of the dresses I picked out are JH. I'm trying to make it as 'cheap' as possible for my girls. My one friend is from Upstate NY and she is gonna have a heartattack when she sees how much everything costs!! When we had our eparty in the backyard she said 'this is a wedding upstate'.

Re: Anyone heard of or used 'Houseofbrides.com'?
ive heard mixed reviews. I used netbrides.com instead. I have a lot of family members and friends who have used them with no complaints. I couldn't price match at RK bc i ordered a Jim Hjelm and netbride does not give out Jim hjelm prices over the internet. They call you with it. So i didnt have proof to show RK. I think netbride came in about 20 bucks cheaper for the dresses then RK's inital no frills price.
