i am a huge fan but i have to tell u
not as great in concert (for me)
ive seen him in concert 3 times and i have been to about 50 concerts -
i keep going because i love them but not so great

Wow....I don think I've ever heard anyone say they dont like them in concert as much as on cd. But everyone has their own tastes definitely!

I've seen DMB in concert over 50 times (yes, I know that sounds crazy) and I never get tired of them!

My cousin Andrea (soon2bmrsmcd) can back me up on this cause shes been to half those shows with me!

You live in the New York area so its soooo easy for you to go to shows cause he plays the northeast all the time! I definitely miss that about living in NY. Thats why I was able to go to so many shows in the past.
You should get out there and try to go to a show again...you'll have so much fun!!

I wanted to edit this so I could say that Central Park was AMAZING!!!

I was right in front at Central park. Maybe like the 10th row...It was outrageous!!!! I know I definitely have to go to one. I feel so old and boring

Andrea and I got really lucky for Central Park cause our Uncle was an NYPD detective at the time, so he got us right to the front of the show without having to wait in that huge line outside the gates.
But 10th row....thats awesome!! We werent that close. I bet that was amazing!

Ann, im telling you, you've got to come out to Alpine one year cause it really is the greatest venue to see them. The crowd is just amazing cause theres soooo many people! You can stay at my house!

Yeah....do you have the dvd? On the extra features they show everyone running in when they opened the gates. Its such an awesome shot! Andreas brother was waiting in line with you guys and he ran in also and he ended up in like second row!! He didnt leave that spot for the rest of the day!!!!

Yup FH and I have 2...lol We were looking for us but we couldn't find us. We didn't leave it either. That was def one of my favorie if not the fav concert ever

How did I miss this thread!?!? I love DMB. They are my favorite band!!!!! I've been to 31 or 32 shows. I'm seeing them next week at the Gorge in Washington State. It's such an awesome venue - I can't wait

alpine valley is my FAVORITE live musice venue esp for DMB

I love them, my favorite song by them through all these years is CRASH, it's so soulful
