I went to the doctor today and he prescribed this pill to me. I tend to have lots of issues with hormones so I may not take it until March through May since the wedding is in April and my period should be here around them without the pill (grrr). Anyone have lots of hormone sensitivity problems but still liked this pill?
Please don't respond with other methods like try the ring, patch, depo because I've tried them all.

I just started Loestrin and its good. I went from 4 days with my friend to 2 days. Its a lower dose of hormoes. I had no problems switching, no sickness or anything. HTH Godd luck!

I used that its a low dose, honestly I did not experience any of the weight gain and bloating side effects until I switched my pill to ortho

Thanks for the responses! I'm not even concerned with weight gain or bloating so much as shortness of breath, becoming crazy and emotional and having no sex drive. Those are just some of the reasons I am not a hormonal BC fan.

i was on a regular high dose BC - and i was crazy and emotional with no sex drive. . . never felt like myself ( this was for YEARS)
just switched to Loestrin 24, last month and lost SIX pounds without trying, and i feel SO MUCH BETTER - i truly feel like myself its great
only problem was that i got cramps which i havent gotten in years but since its the first month it may be bc i just switched
